On November 29th, 2012 from 6:00 PM- 9:00 PM we are pleased to welcome Maimah Karmo, Founder of Tigerlily Foundation, our foundation of Choice, to On the Purple Couch to discuss her book. Maimah arrived in American during the 1990’s after fleeing her home country of Liberia, West Africa. Maimah shares her story and her battle with breast cancer as a women under 40 and what that has propelled her forward to do with her life. Please join us for the book singing.
